Orizuru Arts & Culture Center

The Orizuru Arts & Culture Center is my contribution to the I Love Japan Collab that was hosted by excellent simmer and all-around good person ErynwithaY.

The goal of the collab was to take two Sims 4 worlds (San Myshuno and Mt. Komorebi) and to fill them with Japanese-inspired builds. I was assigned to do the Casbah Gallery in San Myshuno.

Although I kept the lot as an arts center and gave it a space for painting and crafts, I decided that it would also be fun to turn it into a cultural museum. I dedicated one wing of the new center to exhibits that featured the "culture" of other Sims 4 worlds. There is an exhibit for Mt. Komorebi, Forgotten Hollow, Glimmerbrook, Henford-on-Bagley, Battu, Sulani, and Selvadorada. There is also a museum cafe and lounge as well as plenty of outdoor space for your Sims to enjoy.

The name of the center comes from the Japanese word for an origami crane, which I thought was nice because it is a Japanese art form, and there are a few crane items in the build/buy catalogue that I could incorporate.

This build is available on the Sims 4 gallery. It can be used as a museum, arts center, cafe, or lounge.
